Designed by Swedish maker Albert Nyström, it is the instrument that started Nyström Instruments, a boutique maker built on the idea that a machine should collaborate with the musician, not just obey.Four voices, Kick, Snare, HiHat and FM Bass, each with eight parameters to sculpt its character. Press the beat button to generate new rhythms, raise the Probability to set how often each voice plays, and turn up Randomness to modulate the sound as it runs. The higher the randomness, the more each hit shifts and breathes. Generated sequences send out over MIDI, and it syncs both ways over analog clock and MIDI USB.This is the fully assembled version, ready to play out of the box.
