(Mature Size: 18"T x 42"W) Hosta 'Crusader' emerges in spring with blue-green leaves and a nice yellow margin. These colors do not last long and by mid-summer the leaves are a shin y dark green and the margins fade to creamy-white. Leaves are slightly cupped with wavy margins and some good corrugation. A mature clump is quite attractive with the leaves twisting and rolling in all directions. H. 'Crusader' is a rapid grower that does best in moderate shade. Exposure to strong sun produces a metallic sheen on the leaf surface. Pale lavender flowers put on a show in late summer . Why Should I Grow It? Attractive mound of foliage that twists all over.
