The food-grade PVC is rated for sodium hypochlorite at normal mixing strengths. The catch is the fittings, not the hose. Keep barbs, camlocks, and valves poly or stainless. Brass and galvanized corrode under SH and flake debris into your pump. Will this hose collapse under suction? No. The rigid PVC helix is the point. It holds the bore open under the vacuum the pump pulls on the inlet, so flow stays steady where a plain vinyl line would suck flat. Can I use it as my high-pressure hose?
