Crypt Spiralis is one of hardier species of Crypts that I have just recently started keeping. Crypt Spiralis has thicker leaves and grows taller. It also has a tendency to shoot of f runners all over other parts of your tank. Crypt Spiralis makes a great background plant. The thing that shocks me about Crypt Spiralis is how when we got it in, it didn't melt like most crypts. NOTE: That doesn't mean it won't melt in your tank, but it will grow back. If you have never kept a Crypt before, you should start with Crypt Spiralis....great hardy Crypt! Care Scale of 1-10: 1.5 The .5 is only because it might melt back if what we are selling has not fully converted to underwater growth... (grows better in good substrate BUT can plant in plain gravel) 1.0 If it is a small plug like in the second picture which means we've been growing it submerged for a month or two :) Lighting: Grows fine in low light. Will send off runners faster if it is under higher light. Where to Plant: Back ground or mid ground if it is a really tall tank. TRY THIS PLANT IF YOU WANT THE EASIEST CRYPTS I SELL..Pairs well with Anubias..
