An Ed Edmiston hybrid, argyrophyllus × 'Red Tide,' named in honor of our very own Cryptanthus grower Anthony. This Cryptanthus reaches 18 to 24 inches in diameter having wavy, dens ely scurfed wide leaves, maroon in color with pinkish hues, and subtle, black underlying mottling and banding. The mottling changes to a multitude of colors in bright light. The nested inflorescence is a cluster of pure white, large-petalled flowers. Show more
