Two brighter stripes run along each narrow blade, while a greener centre and fine toothed margins preserve the star-like outline. The slightly rippled surface gives the soft colouring a more tactile finish.Small rosettes begin greener and more tightly gathered. Leaf by leaf, they spread sideways, revealing clearer pink bands across a wider, flatter star that remains close to the substrate. The cultivar stays compact even at full size, with the longest outer leaves carrying its complete striped pattern. Once the original rosette is developed, small offsets may emerge beside it. Their shorter green-and-pink leaves repeat the pattern at a smaller size and gradually turn one earth star into a clustered group.
