The card backs are intricate and entirely hand-drawn, a traditional two-way monochrome pattern rich with Shuck iconography, with modern details that look spectacular in a fan or spread. The Ace of Spades depicts Black Shuck as he first appeared during the storm at St. Mary's Church, Bungay, in 1577. The two Jokers form a diptych - place them side by side to reveal the beast in full.
