Cryptocoryne walkeri is a compact Sri Lankan Cryptocoryne producing fresh, bright green leaves that are slightly elongated and lightly wavy. It typically reaches 15–20cm in height, making it a natural midground plant in most aquariums. It is one of the easier and more adaptable Cryptocoryne species, forgiving of water condition variations and establishing reliably once planted.Low light, no CO2, planted in substrate. Root tabs support faster establishment. Like all Crypts, temporary leaf melt can follow being moved — leave the rhizome in the substrate and new growth will appear. Once settled it spreads via runners and forms an attractive, well-structured colony over time.Plant roots in the substrate without burying the crown. Foreground to midground positioning in most aquariums.
