Cryptocoryne Willisii is a less common Crypt with bright green, grass-like leaves — similar in appearance to Cryptocoryne lucens. Like other Crypts, it grows at a moderate rate and can be kept submerged or emersed. Care & Planting: Remove from the pot and root wool before planting into quality substrate. Crypts dislike being moved once established — pick a spot and leave it. To propagate, cut off new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome. A note on "crypt melt": Cryptocoryne are well known for shedding their leaves after being moved, replanted, or exposed to a sudden change in water parameters.
