'Mi Oya' is an uncommon Crypt very similar to Cryptocoryne Wendtii Bronze. I've noticed that while they share the coppery, ruffled leaf structure, Mi Oya tends to lean more purpley bronze. I'd place these in the front, to mid-ground in your aquascaping, although I have a few that have grown up to 8 inches tall over three years. As I said, slow growing! One of the lowest-light, and easiest-to-please plants I carry, you should nonetheless expect some leaf melt when it's shipped your way. These like to regrow their leaves when disturbed. One plant is 4-8" tall. One single bare-root plant will have at least three leaves. EMERGENT-GROWN Growing requirements: 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit Ph 6-8 Low to Medium light intensity. Slow growth speed As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!I personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm.
