In mild climates plant again in early fall for a late crop. Sow seeds in well-drained soil 2 inches apart, firm soil well over seeds and keep evenly moist. Carefully thin young seedlings several times, so final spacing is 4 inches apart. For sweetest flavor do not let plants dry out.
