When Tong Tong first started, we only had the fitted cuts like those worn by Maggie Cheung in the movie "In The Mood For Love." As a one-woman show, I soon realised that wearing a cheongsam while tending to the shop and doing chores was very restrictive. That's when I came up with the comfortable and liberating "fit-and-flare" style, which continues to evolve. In this lastest iteration, it can be either a loose A-line dress or a cinched-at-the-waist dress depending on your mood. An elastic pull string at the waist does the trick. A cute print on the back panel, red and white stripe pipping, and my current favourite buttons complete the Tong Tong look. — Little Cloud, Founder-Designer of Tong Tong Style: Comfort fit.
