Modeled after CSX cabooses, this car is inspired by the crew cars that once brought up the rear of freight trains across the CSX system and its predecessor railroads. It is a natural addition for fans of eastern U.S. freight railroading and classic caboose-era operations. Handcrafted by real railfans, our wooden trains are designed as durable, child-friendly toys made for years of play and often treasured as keepsakes and heirlooms. While safety and durability always come first in our designs, each piece is still inspired by the look and spirit of the real train.
