Ctenanthe ‘Compactstar’ (Ctenanthe setosa ‘Compactstar’) is a striking prayer plant with elegant, elongated leaves marked by bold silver-green stripes and deep purple undersides. Known for its rhythmic leaf movements that follow the light throughout the day, it adds a dynamic, living accent to your home. Compact yet lush, this variety forms a tidy clump that brings both texture and colour to shelves or tabletops. Plant Care Light: They like bright indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Watering: They like their soil moist all the time but don't overwater either. You will know when it's time for a drink as their leaves will begin to curl. The leaves will also curl if you overwater, so it's good to check the soil before you give it a drink. This plant will not do well with tap water, so if possible, rainwater or filtered water is only for these drama queens. Temperature: 18-25°C is ideal.
