Each player controls a group of characters, and the goal is to drive them as insane as possible - and they should preferably die faster than the opponents'.Just like in the original Gloom, the cards are transparent, so you can stack multiple cards on top of your character, thereby changing their stats and whatever other players have done to them. How to play Cthulhu Gloom:On your turn, you can take 2 actions, and then draw cards up to your hand limit.You can choose from the following actions: Play a Modifier, place a Modifier from your hand on a living character, it does not have to be your own. Play an Event, follow the instructions on an Event card in your hand and then discard the card. Claim a Story, if you meet its requirements, you may take a Story card from the table or from another player and receive the benefits. Place it next to your characters. Discard Your Hand, you may discard your entire hand, but you will not draw a new hand until the end of your turn. Pass, you do not have to take one or both actions if you do not want to. After you have taken your actions, you draw cards up to your hand limit.The funnest part of Cthulhu Gloom is the storytelling element.
