The monstrous Cthulhu comes from th e mind of horror writer, H.P.Lovecraft. He is said to resemble a human octopus and stands hundreds of meters tall. With webbed human-looking arms and legs and a pair of rudimentary wings on his back, it is no surprise that Lovecraftian's worship him. In this version you can see Cthulhu's cephalopodic face staring from the side of the cup.
