Red Heart (beak and eye). Walnut (for dark pieces). Basswood (for the light parts on the beak). Spalted Maple and Hackberry (for the rocks). Spanish Cedar (for the feet). Walnut 3/8? dowels (for eyes). Blades Used: Gold #5 for Western Red Cedar and Spalted Hackberry. Platinum Plus #5, Platinum #5 , TLB #5 or TM #5R for the hardwoods and aspen.
