How to Size Your Nails How to Apply Start with clean, dry nails. Push back your cuticles and lightly file your natural nails into shape. Buff your nail bed with the rough side of the buffer for better adhesion. Choose between nail glue (long wear) or adhesive tabs (short wear). If using glue, apply a small pearl to the press-on and a slightly larger pearl to your nail bed. Press from cuticle to tip to avoid air bubbles. Hold each nail for 10–30 seconds for a secure fit. Avoid water or oils for at least 2 hours after application. How to Remove Soak nails in warm water with oil and soap for 10–15 minutes. Use the cuticle pusher to gently lift the edges, never force them off! Apply cuticle oil to break down any remaining adhesive.
