All serger brands are welcome. Basic serger knowledge is required to take this class. If you need help getting comfortable with your machine, please contact our Machine Department to schedule a one‑on‑one lesson (fee required) prior to the class. If you do not have a serger and would like to try one before purchasing, please contact us prior to class so we can reserve a classroom machine for you. You’ll get hands‑on experience working with Cuddle® fabrics and assembling a bag that’s perfect for gifting, travel, or everyday use. A fun way to build your serger confidence. Class Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund or credit for a class, cancellation must occur 7 days prior to class date. Help us keep this class on the calendar!This class needs a minimum of 6 students to run. If we’re below that number one week before class, the session may be cancelled. INSTRUCTOR Mary StevensMary has been involved in the crafting world since the age of 12 but didn't begin sewing until her late 30's when a lifelong fascination with quilting was fostered by a very talented and patient neighbor. With a basket of scrap strips and a log cabin pattern, her first quilt was created. Mary’s addiction for fabric and patterns began!Her love of Cuddle® started with a baby quilt and a daughter that wanted "wubbie" for backing. From there, the discovery of a local pattern designer of receiving blankets with appliqués and matching stuffed animals all created with Cuddle® sealed her fate.
