The Cuddly Cactus gets its name due to the absence of spine clusters, making it a safe option to keep around pets and children. Like most cacti, the evergreen Cereus cactus is drought-tolerant and loves sun. As a unique cultivated variety, the Cuddly Cactus may occasionally "revert" to its original parent genes by growing new arms with prickly spines.
