A slim silver cuff adorned with colorful Zuni needle point lapidary work. The cuff is a flat, narrow sterling silver band set with tiny cut and polished turquoise and red coral. Al ternating stones are set in delicate hand-cut bezels across the top of the cuff, with tiny silver beads placed at the interstices. Each stone is set vertically forming a tight row, with the exception of the final turquoise which are set horizontally at each end. The band curves around the wrist embellished with silver twists, bars, and beads. A beautiful piece with fine silver and stone craftsmanship. The interior of the cuff is signed "E. L. Lonasee," the mark for husband and wife team Ellen and Lawrence Lonasee. The Lonasees are Zuni silversmiths and lapidaries who have been crafting jewelry since the 1950s. Circa 1970. How can you tell if a cuff bracelet is your size? Measure the top of your wrist from side to side and compare with the inside measurement of the cuff. If this bracelet does not fit easily on your wrist it is not your size. Please do not bend or force the cuff, either the cuff or your wrist may be damaged.
