This interesting vintage cuff bracelet is rich with symbolism. The front of the silver cuff is adorned with an applied and engraved Thunderbird over an arrow, the Thunderbird's bel ly is set with a small, round turquoise. The thin band is stamped with many kinds of rocker designs: Thunderbird and Thunderbird tracks, arrows, rain clouds, eagle feathers, and others. A lot is going on here, making this a fun and lively piece. This cuff is unsigned, bearing a close resemblance to designs from the Bell Trading Post. It shows some wear, the cuff is slightly bent, and the turquoise has a small chip. Circa 1960. The Thunderbird is a legendary creature in Native American history and culture, considered to be a supernatural being of power and strength. The Thunderbird is said to create thunder by flapping its wings and lightning by flashing its eyes. How can you tell if a cuff bracelet is your size?
