SOCK CONSTRUCTION Top down, shorty length, two 2x2 rib cuffs, stockinette stitch leg and foot, heel flap with garter edge and gusset, shadow wrap short row heel, anatomical and rounded toe. YARN Fingering weight, 4 ply, approximately 400-600 yards/365-548 meters total SAMPLE Size Medium (64 stitches, US size 7.5) Legacy Fibers Artz, colorways, Tapestry and A Legacy Celebration, Steel Toes base (75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon, 50 gram (231 yards/211 meters) sock sets with 20 gram mini YARN REQUIREMENTS Main Color : 231 - 400 yards / 211 - 365 meters Contrast Color: 80-120 yards / 74 - 109 meters The yarn quantity depends on the size you are knitting. Always overestimate so you don’t run out. GAUGE 32 stitches and 40 rounds per 4 inches/10 centimeters in stockinette stitch NEEDLES US 1 / 2.25 mm needles (or size needed to obtain the gauge) 2 sets of needles will be needed for the Double Cuff Use your preferred method for knitting socks (DPNs, magic loop and two circulars, 9 inch needle).
