Did it start with Rush Limbaugh and FOX News or was that just a logical extension of Reagan demonizing marginalized groups to cut down on government assistance programs. And was that just an extension of Lee Atwater's Southern Strategy? And was that just an extension of Anti-Abolitionist propaganda calculated to take advantage of political realignments? I mean, even the manifest destiny bullshht that founded this country was calculated propaganda. Anyway, the propaganda well runs deep, but helping people just recognize and realize that they've been lied to and taken advantage of for their predjudices is tough work and not everybody has the patience to break through the sheer wall of stupidity.
