Rocket was first introduced into Britain by the Romans, known as Arugula in Italy. The cultivated rocket is slightly milder than wild rocket and had meatier leaves. It has a wonder ful peppery flavour and it great addition to add extra flavour to mixed green salad bowls. Try adding to pizzas for an extra flavour as a topping or garnish. It is a great salad accompaniment to add to your selection, as it can be sown up to the end of September. Sow thinly directly into warm soil. Thin out as necessary. Show more
