The harlequin motif captures the festive spirit of its namesake celebration. About the Maker Culver Glass Company, founded in 1939 by Irving Rothenberg in Brooklyn, New York, became renowned for its luxurious glassware featuring 22-karat gold. To apply the gold patterns and textures the company used a secret, patented high-heat roll-on process.
