Cuminum Cyminum L. Cumin is an annual herb from the Apiaceae family. It grows to about 30 cm tall in sunny places and has thin 'branches' of fine leaves. Small white or pink umbell iferous flower. The seeds can be harvested when they start to change color. Cumin should be dried before use in a dry, airy place.
