Biotodoma cupido. Cupid cichlids were once placed in the genus Geophagus. Like them, they are peaceful mid-sized cichlids that do best when kept in groups; 4-6+ is best as it will allow a pecking order to form without weaker individuals being bullied excessively. Cupid cichlids can be kept with surprisingly small tankmates for a fish of their size (Cupids reach about 4") but care should still be taken with fishes small enough to fit in their mouths.
