Make your own set of mugs or cups. During this short pottery class, you will be making mugs or cups, with our own personal style. Mugs are everywhere and remain one of the favorite objects to make out of ceramics. But what goes into making one? What considerations are important when making a mug completely by hand? This taster class will give you a good basis into a hand-building technique that is used to make cylinders, which is the basis for making mugs, cups and other objects. Let it be the start of your journey into pottery or a fun activity with a friend. The pieces you create can also be perfect as thoughtful gifts. Who is this class for? This class is for everyone. No experience needed. Thank you for your understanding that our classes are only open to adults. Course Outline A two hour guided session You will be making up to two pieces (cups and/or mugs).
