His images and themes usually repeat to form a type of pattern–al l manner of elements, objects, and creatures from the natural and celestial world are drawn in row after row. Often they appear to have been stylized or seen from a birds-eye view. The repetition and linear arrangement create a pictographic effect that begs for interpretation, hints at a story, but never quite reveals the mystery. Show more
