No templates are needed - we’ve developed a simple measuring method that gets it right without the hassle. Just provide a few easy dimensions, and we’ll craft a rod that echoes the arc of your space with elegance and integrity. Because most curved walls have natural imperfections, your rod will be made to form a smooth, continuous arc based on your provided measurements. You’ll need: Width of the window Height of the arch or eyebrow To calculate height easily: Use C – A or B – DThese methods should yield the same result (H) A= Distance from floor at side of window to beginning of curve.B= Distance from side of window at beginning of curve to ceiling.C= Distance from floor at center of glass window to top of arch.D= Distance from top of arch to ceiling. Step 2: Tell us where you want the rod or panel to sit in relation to the window. Provide L (left) and R (right) extension measurements. These are usually the same If using rings, the final ring may land approx. 1" short of the L/R point depending on the rod’s arc. We’ll handle the rest - adjusting for curve, spacing, and design - for a seamless fit and easy installation. Suggested Additional Measurements For rods using more than 3 brackets for support, please provide the locations where brackets will be located so seams/joints can be located at these points. This gives the best support, as we use our patented coil connector to internally splice the rods for easy installation and perfect fit. While we curve the rod in our factory in one piece - we seam the rod so that it can be more easily handled and to minimize shipping charges. Simply draw your wall and show the locations of the brackets with the distances between them, noting if the distance is on the curve or straight line (preferred).
