Joined at the corners with our patent-pending flexible coil connectors, these rods allow for quick and forgiving installation—even if your bay window walls aren't perfectly angled or aligned. View our Measurement Guide for Bay Window Rods. How It Works: Corner Flexibility: Each rod is joined with a hidden flexible wire coil (like a spring) that fits inside the hollow steel. This allows for up to 3" of adjustment, ensuring a snug fit without re-measuring. Clean Look: The coils are pre-set to show only ¼"–½" when viewed from the front for a streamlined appearance. Precision Option: Want a sleeker, concealed connection? Choose our Precision Miter Cut option. We’ll cut the rods to your specified angle so the coil is hidden entirely inside the rods. Measuring Is Simple: We only need measurements from where the rod should begin and end on the wall, not the window frame. Here’s what to provide: BLB (Left side), BCB (Center), and BRB (Right side) - wall-to-wall back measurements, labeled clearly. Corner angles - Send degrees or use our easy business card trick . All measurements should be on the physical wall, not inside the window frame. Once you submit your order with these measurements, we’ll calculate the geometry for you. Additional Details: Brackets sold separately. Choose wall, ceiling, or inside mount. Rod pricing includes 4 feet of base length plus a charge for each additional foot or fraction thereof. All measurements are from the base of one finial to the base of the other finial. For help quoting or ordering, our team is here to guide you through it step-by-step. NOTE: Each rod has the finials welded to the end, and comes in interconnecting sections for easy handling and to minimize shipping charges. All rods will be the same diameter for the length specified. You specify the exact length. Rods will have minor visible seams where interconnected, but no lips as with an adjustable rod. We locate seams at bracket locations to further minimize their appearance, unlike adjustable rods. Also, you may specify the seam location preferences up to 45" spacing between the seams. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. Otherwise, seams will be equally spaced apart between brackets up to 45". We allow 1-1/2" from the center of the outer bracket to the base of the finials.
