Custom Bore Size Option: This Option is perfect for Engine builders who do not want to unnecessarily oversize the cylinder bores on a block. You can increase the service life of a block by only honing what you need to remove taper and make the cylinders round again. Why bore .030 over when .003 or .005 will do? The extra $80.00 this option cost is nothing compared to replacing a block. With today's power levels leaving wall thickness in the cylinders can also help with power and longevity. Note: Always finish the cylinders and check availability of rings before ordering custom bore size. Obviously custom bore size pistons are non-returnable.
