The Custom Diamond blanket is a heavyweight, 100% wool throw handmade in Mexico by West Path. It measures 84" x 54" (2.1m x 1.4m) and features a bold centre-diamond design in red, black, green, yellow, and grey stripes, styled after traditional Navajo textile patterns. Where the design comes from Blankets like this one are often called Mexican, Aztec, Navajo, or Indian blankets because of their traditional centre-diamond layout and richly coloured stripes. Navajo textiles specifically come from the Navajo people of the Four Corners region of the US, and have been prized trade items for more than 150 years, with strong geometric patterns and colours — red, black, green, yellow, and grey — that carry meaning tied to the land. This blanket reflects that visual tradition. How to use it This is the premium blanket in the range — 100% wool, slightly larger and softer than the standard styles — so it works well as a cosy throw for a bed or sofa, a heavier layer for meditation or savasana, or a machine-washable cover for picnics, the beach, or camping.
