The Goetic Pentacle (specifically, the Sigil of a spirit in the Goetia) is displayed during evocation to compel the spirit's obedience. The Restraint (The Angelic Supervisor, and opposition) is the corresponding spirit to ensure that proper communication is done between you and the Goetic spirit.. Together, they form the operator's two primary instruments of authority in a Goetic working. Both pieces are custom-made in wood on the same pentacle and configured for the specific Goetic spirit you intend to work with; the correct seal, the proper names, the right configuration for that entity.Note: I will not make a Goetic Sigil Pentacle without the restraint.
