NATURAL CHECKINGOak cookies almost always check, or split slightly, as they shrink during drying. Cookies usually crack since they dry fast, and wood shrinks when it dries. This checking is stable and will not continue to spread. For our premium custom pet portrait line, I only select cookies with minor checking. Other listings may use more rustic cookies with heavier natural character. SAFEAfter drying, the wood is sterilized in a heated kiln.No bugs, no mold, safe for your house.
