When complete, the portrait will stick to a jacket, pair of jeans, or a backpack. What do I need to know? You can work this kit without being an expert stitcher. There will be steps outlined in a customized digital instruction booklet, and you can consult a resources page for additional help. The pattern will use up to four basic embroidery stitches: satin stitch, long-and-short stitch, split stitch, and couching stitch (if applicable). How the custom pet portrait process works Once purchased, you'll send me digital pictures of your animal. The more images, the better; clear shots of their face taken in natural light are best. I will create a sketch of your furry (or scaley) pet. We will work together to ensure that you are happy with the sketch before it becomes a pattern. Once the digital drawing is done, I will turn it into a stitchable pattern and put together your kit. It will have all of the supplies listed in the "What's included" section.
