Stretch charmeuse satin fabric comprises 97% polyester / 3% spandex and has a beautiful, smooth, shiny satin side with a modest matte finish on the back. The fabric is tightly woven and has a light 2-way vertical stretch, making it extremely durable. In addition, our stretch charmeuse fabric is approximately 7 ounces per linear yard, which is a better construction than most standard stretch charmeuse fabrics. This heavier gsm (grams per square meter) gives the fabric a richer feeling and a better hold when draping.
