How to Care for Your Wax Pad: Spot Treatment for Wax Residue: Use citrus wax cleaner to spot treat areas with wax residue. Avoid letting the citrus cleaner sit for too long. Immediately spray the treated area with Cavicide and wipe dry. Disinfect Between Clients: Disinfect your wax pad between clients using Cavicide spray. Ensure the pad is fully dry before reuse. Machine Washing: For a thorough clean, machine wash your wax pad on a cold, hand wash, or gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low or hang dry as needed. Avoid any exposure to high heat. Scuff Marks: Treat scuff marks caused by shoes using our custom wax pad erasers, specifically designed for this material. Do not use Magic Erasers, as they can break down the material. Accidental Stains: For tough stains, use "Awesome" cleaner. While not guaranteed to remove all stains, it can help minimize the appearance. Important Warnings: Do not use alcohol-based cleaners or Barbicide on your wax pad. Barbicide’s color and extended kill time (15 minutes) can cause discoloration and degrade the pad’s material. Avoid contact with leather, dark garments that haven’t been washed, self-tanners, fresh spray tans, hair dye, lash/brow tint, or lash adhesive. If you perform a lot of clothed services, consider using a black wax pad to prevent potential color transfer from new clothing. DO NOT store while wet to avoid damage or discoloration If stored folded do not place heavy items on top as this may cause creasing By following these care instructions, your wax pad will stay in great condition and last longer.
