Cusumano was created in 2001 by brothers Alberto and Diego Cusumano. The estate was originally purchased by Francesco Cusumano two decades earlier, but the grapes were sold to othe r wine producers.Guided by consultant winemaker Mario Ronco, the Cusumano wines are made from 100% estate grown grapes from 4 different territories throughout Sicily. Most of the wines are made from indegenous Sicilian grape varieties.This is how Cusumano describe this Syrah - "The aromas and palate structure that are typical of this grape variety, are enhanced by the warmth of Sicily, which allows the grapes to reach a perfect ripening."
