Limited edition double vinyl. In Ghost Colours is a master craft of synth pop, extremely danceable but with layers to relish and unravel. It’s deceptively long on paper (or even sh ort at 11 songs?) but cohesive. All the segues play their role, earnestly connecting these wonderful songs. The best songs are the ones that breakdown spectacularly about midway through - Feel The Love, Out There on the Ice and the twinkling So Haunted (or “So Horny” as may be easily misheard). It owes a lot to Cut Copy’s disco influences, but when they strike the switch that sends these songs into the stratosphere, it stirs. Show more
