This painting is inspired by Gustav Klimt's painting, The Three Ages of Woman. In this rendition, the mother and child are set against a silver background and cloaked in a colourfu l cloth fabric, on which pink buttons have been glued for a decorative effect, hence the title, "Cute as a Button."
