BACKGROUNDAt Woodstock we've always believed in the genuine pleasure of sharing a glass of wine with friends and family. Our latest creation, Cuvée Rosé, embodies that philosophy. We crafted this sparkling Rosé to be fun, approachable, and easy to enjoy, regardless of your level of wine knowledge. It's a wine for those who appreciate the simple joys of life and believe that every moment is worth celebrating. WINEMAKINGThis wine combines a fun fruit driven Rosé with some more serious textural components for a beautifully balanced sparkling. Ripe Grenache is crushed and cold-soaked on skins for colour extraction, followed by slow fermentation to capture natural strawberry and raspberry fruit sweetness. To this, we blend in a component of dry Cabernet Rosé to add structure and crisp acidity, while barrel-aged Chardonnay pressings help contribute to a creamy mouthfeel. TASTING NOTESStrawberries and cream on the nose, followed by an intense red fruit middle palate. Finishes with subtle creaminess and crisp Pink Lady apple acidity.
