A vision of white, this chime can turn your garden into an elegant oasis. Capiz is farmed in Indonesia, and every bit is used. The pieces are carefully sorted, dried, sliced, shape d, sanded, and dyed. The thin, flat translucent pieces of capiz provide a luminous color. In the 1500s, capiz were used as windowpanes in houses; now they are used in all sorts of home decorations, including lampshades, vases, and (of course) windchimes!
