Displays very well in-hand and remains a striking example of this exceptional species.In the photos, it looks like there is some straw-like debris inside the aperture of the shell - that is just loose debris, it could easily be removed but I didn't want to take any risk of damaging the shell. Nesiocypraea midwayensis has become increasingly scarce on the market. GEM specimens are now selling for over $5,000!
