In an increasingly digital world, online safety is a vital life skill. Cyber Attack is more than just a board game; it is a therapeutic tool designed to help children (Ages 8-12+) navigate the complexities of the internet with confidence, skepticism, and social responsibility. By gamifying critical concepts like privacy, cyberbullying, and digital footprints, this set allows children to "rehearse" safe online behaviors in a low-stakes, physical environment. It is an essential resource for building digital literacy while simultaneously strengthening executive function and social-emotional regulation. Therapeutic Benefits: Digital Literacy & Cognitive Reframing: Multiple-choice questions challenge "fast thinking" and encourage participants to analyze online scenarios critically, helping to prevent impulsive clicking or sharing in real life. Executive Functioning & Planning: The strategy element—deciding whether to race ahead or "sabotage" an opponent—requires foresight, weighing consequences, and shifting focus, all of which are core skills for children with ADHD or ASD. Social-Emotional Development: The "sabotage" mechanic provides a safe space to practice Sportsmanship and Perspective-Taking. It allows children to experience frustration and competition in a controlled setting, building resilience for online social interactions. Safe Exploration of "Red Flags": Covers high-stakes topics (predators, scams, and bullying) in a sensitive, age-appropriate way that reduces anxiety through knowledge and preparedness. NDIS Goal Alignment: Safety & Community Participation: Building the skills necessary to interact safely in digital communities. Social Skills & Relationships: Understanding the "hidden rules" of online friendships and identifying healthy vs. unhealthy digital boundaries. Cognitive Capacity Building: Improving decision-making and problem-solving skills related to personal security and information technology. What’s Included: 1 Game Board: A visual roadmap for digital safety. 50 Question Cards: Covering 5 core themes: Cyber Safety, Cyberbullying, Device Handling, Online Friends, and Privacy/Security. 8 Counters & Die: For multi-player engagement (up to 8 players). Clinical Note: Digital safety is often a source of high anxiety for parents and a point of vulnerability for neurodivergent youth. This game acts as a "Social Story in a box," providing concrete rules for the often-abstract world of the internet. Show more
