An attractive low growing tuberous plant from Turkey and the Caucasus etc with rounded deep green leaves occasionally with a silver overlay adding to the interest. These usually ri se in early autumn and remain through the winter months. Flowers on this selection are deep ruby reds with broad petals reflexing upwards, these are borne in late winter to early spring. One flower per stem but multiple stems per plant. Easy and reliable in a lightly shaded spot in the garden. Show more
