For example, our 18x18 pillow covers will work great coupled with an 18x18 insert. For an even fuller look, an insert 1-2" larger than the pillow cover listing size is recommended. If a lumbar pillow, we recommend an insert the same size as the listing. For example, a 12x16 pillow insert will work great with our 12x16 pillow covers.
