Cylindra is a Danish heirloom variety dating back to the 1880's that produces 5 to 6-inch-long, 2-inch-wide beets with smooth skin and a fine, sweet flavor. Cylindra slices into un iform rounds, making perfect for pickling and snacking and its cylindrical shape also makes it easier to peel. Ready to harvest approximately 60 days after sowing.
