Bauxite is a type of aluminum ore. All African bauxite beads are hand made and drilled, making these beads very labor demanding. Bauxite beads like these have been imported from Af rica for decades. What attracts most buyers to them is their beautiful natural color. The size of the beads vary from strand to strand. This is a real authentic strand at an affordable price! Diameter of beads is between 12-15mm with some strands including a few larger beads. There are about 16 beads on each strand depending on the length of each bead.
